Modules refer to the bunch of linked directives, services, pipes, and components that are used to build the application. Classes are an ideal example of modules. Basically, modules are used so that all the key building components of an application are co-related and fully functional.
The root module of Angular is known as AppModule, and it's responsible for supplying the bootstrap mechanism for application launch. In a customary Angular app, various functional modules are part of it.
In Angular, the NgModule decorator is used to define modules. NgModules can get the key functionalities from other Angular modules and permits them to explore the functionality.
